The Sailler Spirit: An Alpine Odyssey
Walnut liqueur is not just a drink, it's time captured in a bottle. The time of seasons, the time of rest, the time of sharing.
— SAILLER FAMILY
01 FAMILY HERITAGE
It all began with a recipe scribbled on a worn leather notebook, passed down from father to son. In the heart of the Savoy valleys, our ancestors understood early on that patience is the most precious ingredient.
Each generation added its contribution, jealously preserving the secrets of maceration while modernizing the tools to ensure consistent quality. It is this alliance between respect for the past and vision for the future that forges the Sailler identity today.

DAYS OF MACERATION
02 CRAFTSMANSHIP
The magic happens at Saint John's Day. It's on this precise date, when the walnut is still green and tender, full of milk, that it is harvested by hand.
Manual Harvesting
Rigorous selection of perfect fruits, without bruises.
Slow Maceration
A blend of alcohol, wine and spices, resting in darkness.
Aging
Patience and silence allow the aromas to mature toward excellence.
We don't just make a liqueur, we perpetuate a taste memory of the Alps.
03 THE SAVOIE TERROIR
Between lakes and mountains, Savoie offers a unique climate. Harsh winters and sunny summers give our walnut trees robustness and our fruits exceptional aromatic concentration.
Our orchards, situated on hillsides, benefit from ideal exposure. Pure glacier water, filtered through rock, nourishes our century-old trees. It is this unbreakable bond with the land that gives Sailler its inimitable signature: frank, woody, and subtly spiced.
